I would be better off not having to deal with myself

I would be better off not having to listen to myself
I would be better off not knowing you would be better off without me, without me
This world would be a better place without me

I would rather leave all of this behind and (just) melt with the snow
I would rather float in the winds and over the peaks below
I would rather sink to the bottom and be spared from the blows
I would rather not go trough this door only to see you were doing fine without me, without me
Your life would be a much better life without me

I might as well go away and slip out of your memory
I might as well retreat  to a corner, no cure and no remedy
I might as well touch the wires and put myself out of (my) misery
I might as well take the time, break the chains and let you go without me, without me
My life would be much a better live without me
